Sossity Writes

Sossity Chiricuzio is a queer femme outlaw poet, a working class crip storyteller. What her friends parents often referred to as a bad influence, and possibly still do.

A Lambda Fellow, she writes as activism, connection, and survival. She recently completed the hybrid memoir Honey & Vinegar: Recipe for an Outlaw, is half of the performance duo Sparkle & truth, and is the Creative Non-Fiction Editor for Gertrude Press.

Her work can be found in a variety of publications including Argot, Gertrude, Adrienne, Crab Fat, great weather for MEDIA, Lunch Ticket, Porkbelly Press, Rogue Agent, NANO fiction, Unchaste, and Atlas and Alice, as well as anthologies like Say Please, The Remedy: Queer And Trans Voices On Health And Health Care, Glitter and Grit: Queer Performance from the Heels on Wheels Femme Galaxy, Emerge: 2015 Lambda Fellows Anthology, the Procyon Science Fiction Anthology 2016, and Not My President.

She is available for workshops and individual instruction, interviews, product reviews, and collaborative literary projects - for more info, get in touch.

Sossity lives and works in Portland, OR, on the ancestral and unceded lands of the Multnomah, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Bands of Chinook, Tualatin Kalapuya, Molalla and many other tribes who have stewarded this land throughout the generations.
